1996 993 Twin Turbo Coupe®
This car has many factory options including FULL carbon interior including dash, door panels, center console, steering wheel, shifter and e-brake handle. Modifications to this car make have the appearance similar to the 993 Turbo S and include Turbo S front spoiler and driving lights, and the rear fenders with air ducts. Performance modifications include a Bilstein suspension with adjustable sway bars, Fabspeed muffler bypasses and RS Clutch, really make this car stand out from the rest. The throttle response from the clutch upgrade is much faster than stock. Other modifications include installation of K40 front and rear radar detectors, upgraded stereo, XM satellite radio and Lojack Vehicle Recovery System.
1) Carfax reports 2 accidents. The first was in 1996 while with the first owner (which wasn't known to current (2nd) owner until the Carfax was run. The second incident was in 2003, when the car was backed into by another vehicle in the rear quarter panel causing minor damage. This is when the owner decided to have the Turbo S rear fenders installed. Rest assured, there is no visible signs of these accidents by looking at the car on the street or on a lift or in the way that it drives.
2) 3 of the 4 wheels are solid spoke wheels that came on the C4S, not the original hollow-spoke that came on the turbos, though look identical to the original wheels. A few years back the current owner had a slow leak in one of the tires and was found to be a damaged rim. This was replaced by one from Wheel Enhancements (which was the hollow spoke). Therefore it was likely that all 4 wheels at one point were the solid spoke wheels.
3) The carbon fiber on the steering wheel is cracking.
The current owner is a multiple Porsche owner, longtime Powertech customer and has had the car serviced there for more than 8 years.
We have all the maintenance records available back to 1999, and even comes with the original window sticker.
This is a phenominal car for the money, so don't let this car get away...
