IN ORDER TO RETURN ANY MERCHANDISE
PURCHASED FROM POWERTECH, YOU MUST OBTAIN AN RMA
(RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION) NUMBER WITHIN
30 DAYS OF THE INVOICE PAYMENT DATE, AS NOTED ON
YOUR INVOICE. MERCHANDISE MAY NOT BE RETURNED WITHOUT
PROPER AUTHORIZATION.
In order to obtain an RMA number, call Jake
Powertech's liability on any returned merchandise is
limited to the purchase price and subject to the following
conditions. Under no circumstances will Powertech be
liable for any labor charges, consequential or indirect
damages arising from the return of merchandise. Unless
the return is due to an error by Powertech, the purchaser
will be subject to a restocking fee of 15%. All purchases
made by credit card will also be subject to a 3% refund
charge.
The following are non-returnable items
-- special or custom order items, electrical parts,
literature, tools, wheels, tires or used parts unless
the return is based upon an error by Powertech. Non-returnable
items also include merchandise kept over 30 days, merchandise
no longer in original packaging or missing original
literature or hardware and merchandise which has been
installed, mounted, painted, modified, damaged or altered
in any way.
All returned merchandise must be in
the original manufacturer's packaging with all hardware,
instructions and documents and be in a saleable condition.
Returns are to be shipped to Powertech
via surface carrier, insured and prepaid. No COD's
will be accepted. A copy of your invoice should
be enclosed. If the return is occasioned by an error
by Powertech, the pre-paid freight charge will be refunded.
Returns after 30 days may be accepted
by Powertech at its sole discretion and may be made
in exchange for credit against merchandise only.
If merchandise is damaged during shipment
to you, do not return the merchandise
to Powertech. You must make a claim directly with the
delivering carrier.
